FIRST RESPONDER RESILIENCY

The Redwood Credit Union Community Fund recently welcomed an opportunity to give back to those who have given so much to their communities through a $55,000 to support First Responders Resiliency. The nonprofit provides proactive psychological, neurological, physical, emotional, and relational well-being for first responders and their families.

“Thank you RCUCF for supporting our efforts to protect and train first responders and their families,” says Susan Farren, founder and Executive Director of First Responders Resiliency. “It’s an honor to be on the mission of 'Putting PTSD Out of Business' with you!”

The organization serves both active and retired first responders and their families. These include fire, law enforcement, dispatch, emergency department physicians and nurses.

“Our first responders work hard to keep our communities safe in times of disaster and beyond; prioritizing their mental health and wellness is essential,” says Brett Martinez, Redwood Credit Union President and CEO. “We are proud to continue our support for First Responders Resiliency.”

Thank you RCUCF for supporting our efforts to protect and train first responders and their families. It’s an honor to be on the mission of ‘Putting PTSD Out of Business’ with you!
