GREEN MUSIC CENTER

The Green Music Center at Sonoma State University (SSU) got a much-needed boost thanks to a challenge grant from Redwood Credit Union Community Fund, in effect doubling contributions in the first quarter.

“We are deeply grateful for Redwood Credit Union’s generous leadership and to all of our corporate partners,” says Jacob Yarrow, Green Music Center’s executive director.

The music center offers year-round programming, serving as home to the Sonoma State University Music Department, the Santa Rosa Symphony, and Sonoma Bach. In addition to bringing people together through shared cultural experiences, having a thriving local performing arts venue helps boost the local economy. The center includes the 1,400-seat Weill Hall, with a rear wall that opens to lawn seating, and the 240-seat Schroeder Hall.

By supporting the Green Music Center, we help build a stronger sense of community, inspire creativity, and foster a deeper understanding of our world.
