New clubhouse provides a safe space to learn, play, and grow.
BOYS AND GIRLS CLUBS SONOMA-MARIN
Donations to the Redwood Credit Union Community Fund (RCUCF) helped make possible a new 25,000-square-foot Boys and Girls Clubs Sonoma-Marin clubhouse, designed to serve about 2,500 youth.
The space is more than a building—it’s a celebration of the west Santa Rosa neighborhood’s rich culture, and a safe and engaging space for youth to learn, play, and grow. The club includes a full-size commercial kitchen, a teen center, a dance studio, and an art and science/technology lab, among other amenities.
The Boys and Girls Clubs provides afterschool and summer programming aimed to inspire and enable all young people to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring adults.
“Redwood Credit Union understands the importance of fostering the well-being of kids and teens in our community. Partnering with the Boys and Girls Clubs of Sonoma-Marin allows us to support programs that educate, inspire, and empower our next generation. Investing in their future enriches their lives, while at the same time building a stronger, more vibrant community for everyone.”
